Stunning breakthrough

Woman from Indiana, Maria Fernandez, at the age of 42, gave birth to 11 boys, 6 of whom are identical twins. The story continues to amaze and further – the woman gave birth to them in only 37 minutes! This case was unconditionally entered in the Guinness World Records as unique for multiple pregnancies. All the heroes of the newly-made super team were born healthy and became famous all over the world, because on average, one quadruple occur in seven hundred thousand pregnancies!

The fastest labor in the world
British resident Palak Weiss gave birth to a daughter weighing three and a half kilograms in just two minutes. Wow! Interestingly, if this love of speed was passed on to the baby?

The shortest period between childbirth
Jane Bleakley left her mark in the history of childbirth records by giving birth to a son on September 3, 1999 and already on March 30, 2000 – a daughter.

Record for the number of births
A resident of Russia made her husband happy with the birth of 69 children! 16 times she had twins, 7 times – triplets and 4 times – four babies.

It was a boy born in 1954 to Signora Fedele from Aversa, which is located in Italy. His weight was ten kilograms and two hundred grams! And the heaviest child born by cesarean section was also a boy and he weighed like a child from Aversa.

The tiniest newborn
was born on December 6, 1961 to the Englishwoman Marian Taggart. The baby was born six weeks ahead of schedule and weighed 283.5 grams, while the norm was 3200 grams for a newborn. The girl was born without any help from medical staff. When Mrs. Taggart finally sought medical attention, the doctors were truly dumbfounded and, for 30 hours, nursed the baby: Doctor D. A. Shearer fed the baby a mixture of glucose and water every hour. Careful attention and careful care had a positive effect – in three weeks the child became stronger and gained weight up to 822 grams. A year later, the girl weighed over six kilograms. At 21, her weight was already forty-eight kilograms. Truly a Christmas miracle!

Age records
In 2005, Romanian Adriana Emilia Iliescu, at the age of 66, gave birth to a daughter using a Caesarean section, and in 2008, 70-year-old Rajo Devi from sunny India gave birth to her first child and became the oldest mother in the world.
